broken Graphite Apple Airport Base Stations* (ABS).
We now have expanded our service to include all
3 AirPort stations. No one wants to have a $300
paper weight around the house or office. About
2 years ago now, many users of Apple's Graphite
Base Station began experiencing problems ranging
from random power outages to completely unusable
Base Stations. The main problem with the Graphites
that are affected is their internal power supply,
which affects the capacitors.
We have had a hand in either repairing or helping
others repair 1000's of base stations in the last
two years. Thank you for making us your number

appreciation to the Mac community, we have lowered
our capacitor repair to $45.
Capacitor repairs
are now only $45. Included is a one year warranty
and usually 24 hour turnaround service.

Fix It Yourself
I have gotten
enough email from people that would like to
try to fix the station themselves to put this
section up. Some people have been able to
do it successfully.
If you do try the repair yourself, follow
the directions carefully. I have put together
a kit that contains 4 Panasonic capacitors
(enough for two repairs) and enough de-soldering
braid and solder to make the repair. I include
light solder with rosin. I recommend Panasonic
capacitors because you will not have to modify
the case to use them. You will have to modify
the inner case if you use Radio Shack brand.
This basic repair
kit is $6.50 We do not sell to resellers. All repair
kit sales final. Do not attempt this repair
unless you know what you are doing. We do
not send instructions with the kit.
