Apple's iPods use a Li-Ion Poly battery. After 400-500 charges this battery will no longer charge fully. This is not a defect. This is the life cycle of the original battery. If this affects you, send your iPod to us and we will replace the battery for you with a larger capacity one. Our 1st and 2nd generation iPod Batteries have the largest charge available for this application (1600mAh). Our 3rd generation battery is also high capacity and is CE approved

The installation is $55, which includes the battery, the installation, and shipping the ipod back to you. We offer a fast turnaround, so your iPod will be back to you quickly. Your iPod is secure with us. When we send your iPod back we insure it for at least $300.

Changing the battery does not lose your music, however, be sure to back up your music before sending your iPod. You can send a check with your iPod or pay via the PayPal link. We also offer the DIY battery replacement kit which includes the high capacity battery and the neccessary replacement tool for $27. Note, this is for 1st and 2nd generation iPods and also for the 3rd generation docking model. Please make sure to select the correct model when you order.
