In an open area a range extender antenna can up
to double your coverage. In a semi-open area you
can up to 15-50% more range. This is enough coverage
for one or two more rooms in a semi-open area
and up to several hundred feet in an open area
depending on coniditions. In our semi-open range
test we added a range extender antenna to a Graphite
ABS and we were able to extend the range to over
2 football fields in length!!! Results may vary
and may not be typical of our test. Results with
the Extreme base station will likely be lower
than with the Graphite and Snow station.
Our 5dBi Omni directional
antenna has a frequency of 2400-2500 Mhz, a
Gain of 5dBi with a horizontal beam width of
360 degrees, impedance 50 ohms, maximum input
power 250 mW, vertical polarization. Connectors
available are Graphite, Snow, and Extreme ABS.
