Base Station Repair is wholly owned by BSR Technologies, LLC and is a limited liability company. We are dedicated to helping those with malfunctioning Airport Base Stations. Judging from the number of discussions on different Mac-related sites, this site will fit a niche. The staff at Base Station Repair are tinkers, computer savvy, and have over a decade of experience working with Macs, Windows PCs, networks, and electronics. We are fully capable of replacing the faulty capacitors in your malfunctioning ABS. Recently, we added iPod service to the list of things we do.

We replace the original two capacitors on the Graphite ABS motherboard with two Panasonic capacitors that are rated to withstand higher temperatures and are purported to have a longer life in the ABS. If firmware is needed, we will install that as well. We may also be able to fix your ABS if it needs something other than capacitors. #Recently, we received a wave of stations that needed cards, resetting, and other repair work done. This work may be done at extra costs if additional parts are needed.

The Fine Print

BaseStationRepair.com is only responsible for the power supply or other repair that we perform on the base station. We are not liable for damage caused by this repair to items other than the Base Station. By sending us a Base Station to repair, you agree to hold us harmless for any damage this repair may cause. If we cannot repair the Base Station, we will send it back to you and refund the service charge. You only pay shipping. However, you are responsible for the costs of additional parts if needed to repair your station if the repair can be completed.

Also, all information that you provide Base Station Repair is private. We will not disseminate your information to anyone.

Base Station Repair is not liable for mail lost by the UPS or the USPS, although, we have never had a problem.

Property that has been purchased or repaired, but remains unclaimed or unpaid after 90 days becomes the property of BSR Technologies, LLC. This would be highly unlikely, but we wanted to include the provision.

Also, any time you send a station in for either repair or the buy back program, be sure to fill out the pre-shipping form. Our iPod battery kit and replacement service are the most economical around. Our iPod battery comes with a one year prorated warranty. That means If your iPod fails to charge to at least 50% capacity during the first year after battery replacement we will replace it at a prorated value (divided by 12 months) if the battery is at fault. Send the battery (and iPod if you ordered the replacement service) along with a copy of your invoice/receipt to get the replacement.
